Jane Market Bag:
I really like how this bag turned out and I already have another one cut out and just waiting to be sewn together. I had seen some "complaints" from others who had sewn this pattern, saying that they wished the bag was stiffer, etc. I really like the fact that the bag is so foldable. I have plenty of bags with tons of interfacing and stiffness. I just wanted a pattern that makes a bag that I can keep on the floor in the bag of my car and doesn't look like a big pile of mess.
I also finished a Peek-a-Boo Bag:
I first saw/read about this pattern over at Duff's blog, Bacon Then Eggs. I really enjoy making bags, so I went ahead and ordered the pattern. I ordered mine at Quilt Taffy, but they don't have any more of the patterns listed in their shop. So, if you follow the other link at the top of the photo, you will go directly to the designer's website. I liked this bag so much, I definitely plan on making more... for myself and I've also been thinking about a service project. I was thinking that I could make a BUNCH of these bags up and then possibly donate them to a local women's shelter. Of course, it would be even cooler if I could fill them with a bunch of toiletries/lotions, etc. I have no idea how to make that happen (I just started thinking about this yesterday morning), so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Notepad Organizer:
I had already made several of these little notepad organizers over the summer, but gave them away so quickly that I never managed to snap any photos. This is the smaller organizer, which fits a 3x5 notepad. Can I just say that I love Erin's patterns? This is the first one I purchased from her, which I loved enough that I volunteered to be a pattern tester for her Two Zip Hipster (I am still carrying this bag....). I promise you, if you buy one of her patterns, you will not be disappointed. You've probably already seen her Circle Zip Earbud Pouches all around the blogosphere and pinterest.
I am linking up to (even though it is Saturday morning...):
