Tessa tagged me in one of these question things and because she is so sweet, I'm going to answer her questions :-)
Your 11 questions are;
1. If you could live any where in the world, where would it be?
This is a funny question....because I once wrote an essay about how I didn't need to live anywhere special as long as I had books (because they could take me anywhere I might like to go). Truly, I have no special place (beyond somewhere safe) that I might like to live. I just have one qualifier - I would want both my family and my husband's family to be close by...say within a 2 hour drive or so. I can always visit any place I want to go, but family is important to me.
2. What is your favorite TV show and why?
I have two shows that are currently at the top of my favorites list: New Girl and 2 Broke Girls. These shows make me laugh out loud like you wouldn't believe!
3. What is your favorite music genre?
I guess I would have to say rock. I really do like all sorts of music, though.
4. Who is your favorite author?
I really don't think that I have a favorite author. I do read a lot, almost exclusively fiction and most often romance, although I do branch out into mystery and such, too.
5. Do you believe that you may have lived in another time and if so when and where?
I have always felt like I have an "old" soul, but no notion beyond that.
6. If you could be a certain age and stay there forever what age would it be?
This is a tough question! I love my life now, but if I could go back to the fitness level I was when I was about 25, I would love that... I could tell you that I would never go back to my jr. high, high school age. There are different things I love about different ages in my life.
7. When you were a child did you have a favorite pet?
We had so many pets, it seems... However, when I was in early high school, I got this cat and I named her Fido (from Fido Dido...does anyone remember that????) and I really loved her, but then my brother let her outside without my permission and she disappeared :-(
8. What is the one thing in your life that you most regret?
hmmm.... I know this is not really the intent behind this question, but I regret not having the opportunity to say goodbye to my brother before he passed away (he was in a car accident, so obviously not something that we could control, anyway).... and I should have made a better effort to keep in touch with my niece (his daughter) even though her mom is very selfish and made it difficult for all of us....
9. Have you ever met anyone famous? Who and where?
Define "famous"... but no, I really haven't. I live an uneventful life.
10. Who is the one member of your family that you trust the most to confide in?
I would be most likely to confide in my mom, after giving her explicit instructions not to share with anyone (if it was something that could not be shared, anyway...)
11. Do you think that these are silly questions?
Nope. I think it is interesting to see what others might want to know about me :-)

Crafty Paralysis
In case you are wondering why I haven't made any posts in the last month... I think I'm suffering from a crafty sort of paralysis. I'm sure you've experienced it before, too. There are so many projects running through my mind that I'm finding it extremely difficult to figure out what I even want to start on first! Plus, I've been overwhelmed by my "real" work lately, too. I'm going to try to get it together this weekend and get some projects going again. I am realizing that I have LOTS to accomplish in this year (yes, year... more on that later..)
In the meantime, I'll leave you with a list of all the happens for me/us so far this year:
- water heater went out and had to purchase a new one
- I fell getting out of the shower and bruised up my arm and really bruised up my leg right in the ankle area
- I cut my finger on Superbowl Sunday and had to go to the ER for 4 stitches
- had the flu
- most recently, got "bumped" in my car my a big recovery/towing truck (who was trying to avoid a lady that was trying {did??} to pull out when she couldn't see if there was actually anyone coming or not)
Really, I'm grateful that these have all be minor things...grateful for savings that helped us get a new water heater, grateful I didn't break my ankle falling out of the shower, grateful for insurance that helps cover the cost of the ER visit, grateful it wasn't something worse that the flu, and grateful for just a few scratches on my car...
