Bran and Flaxseed Muffins

A couple weeks ago, I made these Bran and Flaxseed Muffins that I had tasted when a lady I know baked them and brought them to a meeting. They are different, but tasty and healthy, too. They are not super sweet and if you don't like oranges, you probably won't like them. The only thing that I changed in the recipe was that I used dried cranberries instead of raisins, since I'm not a big raisin fan.

If it is anything to judge by, the dog likes them.... she stole and ate four whole muffins from the counter when I had them cooling. It has been a long time since she has taken any food off of the counter and the last time I think it was hamburgers we had cooked on the grill.

My husband told me that they tasted like "mango." That sort of threw me off because I can pretty much guarantee that he has NEVER tasted a mango in his life and I'm reasonably certain that mangoes and oranges really don't have a similar taste. I thought it was cute though. He could have just said he didn't really like them.
