Giveaway Day!

I am so excited to be able to participate in the Giveaway day for Sew, Mama, Sew.  I wanted to participate in the last giveaway day, but didn't get my act together soon enough to do so.

This is what I will be giving away:

In this photo I have two crocheted potholders and three crocheted dishcloths.  My plan is to break them up into two groups:  a)1 potholder and 2 dishcloths    b) 1 potholder and 1 dishcloth  and choose two winners.

How will I choose the winners?  Please leave me a comment, any comment (but only one comment)....let me know about yourself or where you are living.  I've been thinking about changing the name of my blog so if you have any good suggestions for that, feel free to pipe in with a new blog name.  I will ship my items internationally, so all are welcome to comment. Please, make sure you have a blog or leave your e-mail address so that I can contact you if you win.  I want to share the goodness with everyone!

The giveaway will be open until sometime on Dec. 6, maybe afternoonish?  If the comments are closed then you will know the giveaway is over.  I will use a random number generator to choose the winners.  The first person whose number is drawn will get first choice of items since there is nothing in the group that really matches!

Thanks for participating!

ETA:  I really want to be able to contact you if you win, so please, please make sure that I can link back to you somehow.  I have already figured out that there are several commenters that I don't think I will be able to reach if they win. If you are on blogger, check your profile to make sure that you have your e-mail linked to it, even if you don't have a blog.  Pretty Please...I want to give you my stuff!

Awesome giveaway - I live and craft in ND - we have snow now!

These are darling! In terms of your blog name, some of the most interesting ones tend to be seemingly odd choices that have backstories to them. A friend's mom's blog is sandandcranberries.com, which is a reference to the only foods someone thought her gluten-/dairy-allergy-having son could eat. You could pick a line of lyrics you love, or any number of things, but the main thing for me is, it should be personal and meaningful. :)

Living in Hurst, Texas, we are blessed to have easy access to the Fort Worth Zoo, one of the best in the country. We are members, and love taking the grandsons when they come for a visit.

Love your crochet work, very neat and clean

thanks for a chance at the giveaway

I love crocheted dish cloths. My mother in law made me some a while back. They are about trashed now. Plus my girls always take them for doll blankets...

we desperately need some new potholders and dishcloths... ours here are gross. *grin*
thanks for posting your awesome giveaway!
until recently i was up at western washington university in bellingham, which is a genuinely lovely city in pretty much all respects. mountains, oceans, several great downtown areas, great markets, organic food, community spirit... etc.
now i'm home about a half hour away, in a little city which was voted "best small town in america" about ten years back, home of the tulip festival and a highland games. it's a nice place, although not so much to do locally. our library is great :)
cheers

Something about myself: I love to sew, don't love handwork -- which is why I don't crochet. But I sure do think crocheted dishcloths are the very best. I'd love to win these!

Bec said...

Hi Sally! I live in South Australia, married with no kids (yet) and like to blog about crafty things and trying to 'green' my life a little.

I'm terrible at blog names, it took me forever to come up with mine 'The Lady Beetle Patch' which is a reference to the old saying, 'snug as a bug in a rug', which my husband changed to 'snug as a little lady beetle in a little lady beetle patch'! Do you have a favourite memory and can make something from that?

Thanks for the giveaway (I REALLY love the colours in the purple/yellow/green one!) xx B.

my name is Michele and I live in Central Maine. I love going to craft fairs, but have to admit I am not very crafty myself. currently I have been very busy processing applications for the local fuel assistance office as it has been a very busy year so far. Blogging and meeting new people has been lots of fun, and it is a break from the crazy day of work and then coming home and being a wife and mom. Thanks for having the giveaway and happy holidays!

Well, Sally, I looked at your blog and profile; what's wrong with the blog title you have? Needs more pizzaz? Hmmm...well, there's always that way to find out your prostitute name... you take the name of the street you grew up on as your first name and the name of your first pet as your last name. try that. :O)
Sincerely,
Park View Muffin.
