In spite of my lack of posts, I've still been making things. I really would like to get back to posting in this space regularly. I just need to figure out how to go about that. Maybe if I make it a Sunday night thing?
These are just a few of the things I made at the end of the year.
A quilt for my cousin, as a wedding gift. This is approximately a queen sized quilt. Simple squares.
A Take Off Tote that I made for myself, before we took a trip over the week of Thanksgiving.
A Zip and Go, made for my friend's daughter, to carry her inhaler and an EPI-pen. I'll be making more of these. Probably the first one will be for myself. It would make a great little bag for a day trip, when a person doesn't need to carry a lot.
A pile of Baprons. I'm making these up and will eventually donate them to a Ronald McDonald House. I've really been feeling the need to make for charity, and also use up part of my stash, so these are the beginning.
At the last minute, my friend asked me to make a Stay Dry Pouch for her mom. They are really super fast to make, and I had plenty of laminated cotton, so I made three.
I'll be off now. It's either time to think of going to bed, or else do some organizing for the week.

Your sewing machine was BUSY!!! Love all the great projects.
I don't have trouble making time for blogging, but finding time to take the photos has been an issue. I know as the days get longer, that will be less of an issue.

Beautiful quilt - what a great wedding gift :) The fabric for that Take Off Tote is FANTASTIC - so colourful and fun - I love it - and the polka dot fabric is perfect with it! The Lolas are sweet too - that grey fabric in the middle is sweet :) I like the Zip and Go - very practical, and the kind of bag I've been wanting to make for myself for my Joanns runs to Buffalo :D We're not in any great hurry for another run, though, with the Canadian $ doing so poorly against Mr. U$D - it's a good thing I have a rather massive stash, but oh my I miss my Buffalo runs :D Sweet baprons (that's a tutorial I haven't tried yet because of all the binding) and nice collection of Stay Dry Pouches --- you must have taken a whole evening to get everything photographed! I have a small stack of SMALL finishes downstairs to take pictures of - it's just so dreary in my basement that I really need to take things outside to get better photographs - but ... well ... COLD! BRRRR!
