I've been working on my sock in bits. Yesterday, I did a bunch of watching recorded television shows and some knitting during that time. I finished the gusset, as you can see, and am working on knitting the foot portion. I thought the foot portion would go a little quicker, but it's probably the t.v. watching that is slowing me down :-)

Yay! It looks fantastic! Are you proud of yourself, or what? I think you're doing a terrific job. You'll be wearing those little babies in no time. :o)
oh darn ! i have missed so much! that sock is looking so good!
isn't the heel wierd to do? but once you get it, it's easy-
:)
I am totally proud of myself for getting this far on the sock!
the heel is a bit weird, but not too bad.... I've already been scouting out other sock patterns that I would like to try!
yay! I love the colors. Are you using a variegated yarn or are you changing the colors? Either way, fantastic!! Your stitches are nice and smooth, it looks great. I've only knitted a couple of pairs of socks, but I'd love to make more. I need to try Marie's sock along. :) Can't wait to see them on your feet, too cute!
The yarn is variegated. It is by Red Heart...Heart & Sole...I think the color is Watercolor Stripe or something like that. I'm not sophisticated enough as a knitter to be able to change the colors like that...maybe some day!
it's coming out great! now...don't go getting "2nd sock syndrome." tee hee...i would so totally have that happen to me...i can see it now. of course, i never made it past an inch of ribbing on the sock i started months ago! i think i decided i don't like knitting with dpn's unless they are big ones. i don't mind little needles when they are circulars, but i have a hard time maneuvering the little dpn's, with my hands being so weak, for some reason.
