This is my first Sock-a-Long Update. I haven't gotten far, yet, but I was seriously waylaid by the stomach flu. It was not the least bit pleasant and has caused me to stay home from work for two days now. But, I have managed, after many blunders, to get my first sock cast on. Slow, but steady.

Sally, it looks perfect! Sorry you've been sick. That's the pits. I don't have a lot of patience with being sick, and so it drives me batty when I catch something that really knocks me out of commission. The good thing, though, about going slow is that I can stay ahead of you with Sock-a-Long updates. I have one gal that is knitting faster than I can write them, and I'm sure it's driving her nuts! :o) Hope you are feeling lots better, and keep up the good work with the sock!
That would be me that marie is talking about, lol. I will enjoy watching the progress of your sock!
