The next project that I am undertaking is going to be a pair of socks! Sounds a bit crazy, but I'm going to do it with some help.
There is this blog that I *love* to read... Permission to Unwind. I'm not really sure how I even found it, but I think I might have started reading it when Sew, Mama, Sew! Blog coordinated a give-a-way day. Anyway, I love reading all of the posts that Marie writes on Permission to Unwind. She does lots of crafty cool stuff and she likes to write about "Nifty Thrifty" ideas, and throw a little cooking and some other stuff in there, too.
Marie decided to host a Sock-a-Long and I will be participating. I can't wait! I already have my yarn which is the Red Heart Heart & Sole yarn pictured above. The yarn I purchased is even similar to the color shown in the photo.
I did promise myself that I would finish two other small projects before I get started on the Sock-a-Long. So, my day has consisted of knitting until my hands start to get tired/numb (this happens pretty quickly, unfortunately, and is a long lasting effect from several activities in my past....working in a window factory on an assembly line installing hardware onto french doors and such, and running a slicer in a deli for about 8 years).... then I do a bit of housework, then more knitting, then more housework....
Maybe you would like to join in on the Sock-a-Long? Head on over to Permission to Unwind and check it out! (p.s. It's free, too!)

Aw shucks... thanks Sally! I'm excited to see that you are using that great yarn. I've really liked it, and I think you will too. Thanks for all of your sweet words about my blog. I'm really happy to have you joining me for the sock-a-long!
