Then, I saw this fabric:
I fell in love with the fabric and bought the fabric and the pattern at the same time. I love the quirky little kitty kokeshi dolls. I'm not saying I would wear this fabric to work, but certainly for fun and when I want to be comfortable.
The tunic definitely looks more flattering when it is actually being worn. Of course, my husband takes horrible photos...and when I was showing him the tunic before I hemed the sleeves or the bottom edge he asked if it was the same kind of fabric that they make hospital gowns scrubs out of (he tried to explain his way out of this at dinner). Yeah. That crushed me just a little bit. So, I'm thinking this will be an at home tunic.
I thought the pattern was great and I will definitely be making this again, from some non hospital gown scrubs type fabric.

I have that pattern and some wonderful voile fabric to make it out of. I was actually hoping to work on it tonight but my sweet children played with my serger and now I've got to dig out the directions so I can rethread it!
